As a South African wedding photographer, I’ve documented many beautiful days, but Marelize and Joe’s celebration at Die Woud was truly one for the books. a Wedding filled with emotion, intentional details, and unforgettable surprises.
From the moment I arrived, the iconic tree canopy of the Die Woud wedding venue wrapped the day in warm, golden light. It created a magical atmosphere that perfectly matched the energy and joy surrounding Marelize and Joe.
The reception hall burst into life as soon as the sun dipped behind the mountains. Long tables glowed under warm candlelight, laughter rolled through the room, and every toast carried the weight of deep friendship and fierce love.
Then came the dance floor, vibrant, wild, and full of energy. It was one of those nights where you could feel how connected everyone was, how much happiness filled the space, and how this celebration would be talked about for years.
