We're Nelius and Adeline. Married. Wedding photographers. Professional third wheels.

Our story started years ago in a pub in Pretoria. Nelius was the bartender, I was there for the drinks (strictly for quality control, obviously), and somehow we just never stopped hanging out.

We both studied photography at TUT, because apparently one photographer in a marriage wasn't enough.

Nelius went off to chase breaking news as a photojournalist, which explains why he's ridiculously good at spotting moments before they happen. I fell head over heels for weddings, happy tears, and people doing embarrassing things on dance floors.

In 2016 we packed up our cameras, our fur kids, and what felt like our entire lives, and moved to the Garden Route. These days Nelius has become slightly obsessed with growing oyster mushrooms (yes, really), while I'm usually curled up somewhere with a good book or creating wonky pottery.

When we're not at home, we're probably at a wedding.

We're the ones sneaking around during your ceremony trying not to ugly cry, fixing your veil, carrying bouquets, finding missing buttonholes, and somehow ending up on the dance floor with your aunt at 10pm.

Our style? Real moments over stiff poses. Big laughs. Happy tears. Wind-blown hair. Grandma absolutely owning the dance floor. The flower girl eating confetti. The stuff you'll actually want to remember.

We'll give you enough direction so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands, but not so much that your wedding starts feeling like an eight-hour photoshoot.
