Where do you even start with these “about you” pages? Do you guys actually read them? You better be ready for a pop quiz at the end.
Me and hubby (the big bearded guy) met years ago in Pretoria in a pub, as you do. He was the bartender; I was a shots connoisseur (Not really but I do like my drinks handed to me). We kinda just couldn’t get rid of each other after that. We both studied photography at TUT. Nelius started out his career as a Photojournalist for Netwerk 24 and I focused on Lifestyle and Weddings. In 2016 we packed up our cameras and our fur kids and moved to a very small little town in the Garden Route. We have a huge garden that Nelius loves to fill with all kinds of veggies while I chill in the shade with yet another book.
But above all else we love photography, capturing those special moments in life that will be treasured for generations to come. Every wedding, couple and family is unique. We capture the big moments of the day, but we are always looking for those quiet moments that are equally important but also easily forgotten. Our photography style is predominately Documentary and we shoot with available light, and will only whip out the flash when absolutely necessary or when the mood strikes.
